Absurd's One Community Events Create Excitement by itcLive The Global Community events are generating great excitement within the IT community at our office!!!! From the time we first sent out a note kicking off the initiative, we now have more than 100 people volunteering at least some of their time to organize the various activities being planned. Global Community is uniting teams across different teams to come forward and work together to make a difference. The charity that we have chosen to support this year is ‘ Aashayein’ (Hopes) . We are planning a unique fun-filled Fund Raiser for supporting this organization -- “Bollywood Box Office” -- which is open to everyone. Also, we are taking the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility and applying it to environmental responsibility as well, by creating awareness amongst our colleagues about the environmental impact of the daily choices we make! We will be taking 10 minutes out of every manager’s staff...
